[Bazaar] A Not-So-Handy Landing

~Bron's in charge of Lightfoot now and he is a space pirate but Hyran is second in charge and he says that we are outlaws mostly due to unjust laws he is a Jedi healer with a lightsaber and everything I was once in charge of House Cleese and House Avalon but now i am retired and make sure people get enough cookies and watch out for the Chaos Wolf he is a bad fellow~

Zero looks a bit surprised, even alarmed, by something Shamus says, and quickly consults her silver card-thing, nodding with relief after a moment.

"Oh, another thing you should be aware of.  Some things aren't working too well at present.  Technology, for one.  I'm not certain about magic."

*Shamus looks at Zero*

"Yes magic still is working but i fear for the cartoons on how this is affecting them.  Most are already on edge of the sanity mountain.  This may push them over."

*Shamus looks back to the new comer*

"You picked a great time to show up."

(Sorry for the long delay)

"Ah always pick the best tahme to show up," Jasper announces proudly.  "But I dunno about this Godot group.  Drinkin' is always fun, but Magic is way more interestin'.  Ah remember this one time at a the King's castle, we were having a nice dinner, when suddenly all the wine turned into vinegar!  And the King goes to his head sorcerer guy and says "Fix this!"  And the sorcerer tries but he can't fix it of course, cause it was a pretty good spell from one of the King's enemies.  So I go, "Ah'm a wizard, Ah can make more wine!," and the King tells me to go ahead because otherwise they'd have nothing to drink, and, well, wine is all they really had in that universe, so that's what I was trying to turn some water into, but I musta made a mistake, because Ah accidentally turned water into single-malt scotch."  He guffaws.  "Ah suspect that's the first and only tahme Ah'll see a Knight of the Round Table successfully seduce a virgin priestess!"

Zero looks at the stranger with an odd mixture of appreciation and distaste.  She glances at its silver card thing as if to verify something, and the look of distaste intensifies.  After a moment, in a blatantly obvious "change-the-subject" manner, she asks: "How are you with beer?"

"Well i can assure you the knights here are a wee bit diffrent."

*Shamus chuckles at zeros comment about beer, then smiles as he looks towards jasper for a responce.*

"Drinking is for when times are good - after the adventure's done.  But the adventure's the fun part!"

"Well an adventure is always happening here thats why most of us drink. Even if ya don't pick Godot as your house deep down inside everyone is one they just don't want to accept it fully in there hearts.  A gathering is coming soon i say make your decision then so you can meet and greet with some of the other Avatars.  Hey maybe you'll surprise yourself.  Just remember no one can intimidate or control you untill you decide what house your in,and then when you fully come into existence here and attune yourself to the proper energy. Then its fair game so don't make to many enemies in the beginning you will realize you don't have all the powers you once did."

"Okay, so there's Godot the drinkahs, Avalon the magic users, Lahghtfoot the pahrate outlaws, and Renaissance the buildahs.  Avalon seems lahke the clear choice so fah.  Are there any more?"

Crafty chirps, expansively waving his paws for emphasis.
~there are 15 houses but what kind of magic do you think you are interested in because it doesn't matter what house you are in because there are magic people in all the houses but there are wizardish magic and monsterish magic and potionish magic and psychic magic and the most important of all is the cookieish magic~

"Well there's ares the war-masters at-least with weapons, citadel which they are weapons themselves they practice inner purity and martial arts, Cleese which are hmm what's the best way to describe them.  They believe in my opinion as disorder anything to cause chaos and disorder, delphi the oracles they can tell ya anything about yourself and things, fleming the spies, galahad the protectors, helvitia the mediators, lilith which are about the power of the feminine spirit, lugosi the house dedicated to evil and controlling your every thought, octagon they belive in making things with technology, and tocsin they are almost like lightfoot but instead of actually just taking it from you they make elaborate contracts to legally take stuff from ya. And well the others ya know."

Crafty's whiskers twitch in agreement as he squeaks.
~imagine facing the biggest meanest dragon you have ever seen even bigger than Stran an Ares would grab any weapon to fight it an Avalon would make a magical device to conquer it a Cleese would tell it jokes until it was crying from laughing so hard a Godot would get it a beer and party with it a Fleming would spy on it and pretend to be his long lost brother a Galahad would wait for it to attack somebody else and then jump between them to save that somebody else a Rennaisance would make some neat gadget to stop it but an Octagon would make a giant robot or something to stop it a Tocsin would sue it a Lightfoot would steal its teeth and claws a Lugosi would mentally enslave it and use it as their own monster a Helvetia would try to negotiate a peace treaty with it a Lilith would beat it up because it was a boy dragon a Citadel would karate chop it to death a delphi would divine information about the dragon and then not tell anybody but you you know what is the worst thing of all nobody ever tries to just give the dragon a cookie thats all he really wants is a cookie and to be friends~

"Ah there really dragons here?" asks Jasper excitedly.  He seems to have completely missed the rest of the discussion.  "Ah've been trying to fight a real dragon ever since Votsy took one out with an enchanted sword!"

"And you see how far THAT got him," adds a nasally voice near Jasper's belt.

"Shut UP!" mutters Jasper, trying hard to be inconspicuous as he smacks the pommel of his sword.

Crafty lets out a squeaky whistle, spraying crumbs as he attempts to simutaneously take a bite of cookie.
~there are lots of dragons but we beat most of the bad ones there are a bunch of good ones you should not try to kill because they have had cookies so you know they are good Stran is a dragon sometimes and Smaug is always a dragon so is Puff and there are little dragons smaller than I am too but they are away raising their family somewhere because they haven't been around since the eggs were laid~

Almost on cue an enormous shadow passes over the group and if any of them look up they will see the glittering golden-scaled dragon that is the head of House Godot flying across the sky. He gives no indication that he notices them and continues soaring along his way.
