To be honest Felicia...I'd actually consider buying one of these.  Gimme a quick and decent monitor, and I've now got a running networkable station.  I wouldn't throw down on one of these for gaming.  But for a "Get your elders a computer" box, if the hardware is solid, I say they've got a decent idea here for desktop replacement.

Three words: Plug and Play.

The essence of simplicity. For those who are too simple to own a "real" (read: customizable, configurable, etc) computer.

Irony strikes me 12 hours later as I realize two things:

1. I may have unintentionally dissed Mac users.

2. These new Commodores come standard with Ubuntu Linux.
