Ω - Valeria Lane walks through the expanse of proper, walking in no direction in particular, " ... I mean, it's not as if everything would change, really.  Besides, who's left?  Meleena is long gone, I so rarely see Sallara, Salina never leaves her domain.  Nifty, Kilraven, Val .... it's just changed so damn much.  By the Lords of the Abyss, listen to me, I sound like an adolescent trying to grapple with the prospect of graduating from her academics."

    The Lilith brushes the hair from her face and sighs, taking in her surroundings.

Ω - Valeria laughs softly, "I shouldn't be surprised at your showing up.  So have you been in absentia all this while, or have I been so immersed in my own affairs that I haven't noticed?".  The Lilith stops abruptly and turns to face the Lightfoot, smiling warmly.

The elf shrugs “I do not attend gatherings, other then that I’m around if someone needs me.” She smiles “besides most people here do not even know who I am.”

Ω - "You make it sound as if failing to attend gatherings is a bad thing," comments the Lilith with a wry smile, "and anonymity does have its advantages.  Still, all that matters is those who do know you."  Valeria opens her arms, inviting an embrace.

AElf readily and easily slips into the embrace, resting her head against her friends shoulder “You know I am here for you, right Val?”

Ω - The Lilith returns the hug tightly, "yes, of course I know this ... I'm just dealing with ... changes right now"

Val can feel a slight nod as AElf continues to rest her head against her  "Changes are never easy. More so if one tries to deal with them alone." the lightfoot shifts her head to glance up at her friend "You are not trying to pick up my bad habit now are you?"

Ω - "I am well aware that change is inevitable, still ... it doesn't prevent one from contemplating what will come of the change in question."  Valeria looks down at the elf and smirks, "you and I are very different individuals ... I would imagine that my taking on your characteristics would be as foreign as you taking on mine.  Still, so many of those that I've cared about have gone that it seems only natural that changes would come for me as well."

Ω - Valeria smiles, laying her hand against Aelf's face, her thumb tracing the Lightfoot's cheek and nodding.

AElf smiles back. She slipps out of the embrace, sliding her hands down Val’s arms to take hold of her friend’s hands “Lets do something FUN!” the lightfoot announces “Fun carefree and maybe even a little silly, just because we can.”

Ω - The taller woman laughs and clasps hands with the elf, "well, then, what do you propose?  I'm normally all about spur-of-the-monet, but things are weighing a little heavily at the moment."

The lightfoot’s face scrunches up in thought  “Hmmmm… I don’t know…  in five days My anchor is flying to an island with her mate to be in a boat to sail around an island and then flying back.” She puffs out a breath “I don’t know why she would fly in order to sail but she seem really excited about it. Does that sound like fun to you?”

Ω - "Flying is always a wonderful way to relieve stress," responds Valeria, leading Aelf in an aimless walk, "though I don't know that you have the ability to do so."
