Cutthroat sighs again, holding up his new weapon. "The Badgers MacGregor built this for me after I learned how to control Time. But, it doesn't make any noises like FAITH did. It doesn't have an energy net like FAITH did. It doesn't have a grappling hook launcher like FAITH did. It doesn't make things explode like FAITH did. It doesn't shoot a beam of light like FAITH did. It doesn't talk to me and suggest targets like FAITH did. It doesn't even have a name. It just makes things disappear forever. I don't want to shoot any Avatars, because they won't come back either."

The weapon gleams a soft satin black, but, as previously reported, says nothing.

[AElf]

"Why don't you go back to using Faith then?" AElf gives a small encouraging smile "I mean just because something is new does not make it better."

[wcshoe]

"I promised I wouldn't use FAITH until I finished testing this and gave it a name."

[AElf]

"Well It sounds as if you are done testing it, because you say you don't like it. ANd if you  don't like it do you really have to name it?"

[wcshoe]

The celestial otter looks glumly up at her. "Beta testing is 24 months long. During that time, I am not supposed to use any other weapon except in case of catstrophic failure of this one."

He looks down at the weapon, and pauses slightly before speaking again. "And it has no way to overload it on purpose that I can figure out."

[AElf]

“Cutthroat we’re Lightfoot.   When do we do anything we are ‘suppose’ to do?” she smiles and then stands up  “Give me a second”

The AElf blinks out of existence and pops back in within a second.  Additions have been made to her garb in that she is now wearing a sun visor with the word ‘Hershey’ embroidered on it. In her hands are bags, one having the same logo as her hat and another one with the word ‘Godiva’ written on it.  “I should have thought of this sooner” the elf says a bit apologetically. She hands the bags over to Val and Sigma. Handing the Hershey bag to Sigma “I’m told Hershey is a Chocolate town, and has a nice variety” to Val she hands the Godiva one “What a lady riding naked on a horse through the center of a town has to do with Chocolate I do not know but this is suppose to be one of the premier Chocolates in the terrene world.”


Looking back to her housemate “So you want to see if we can break that thing so you can have Faith back?”

[wcshoe]

Cutthroat shrugs, a sinuous movement that goes all the way to his tail. "They would just give me a new one. Besides, Lightfoot may not do what other people like us doing, but we do have honor. And once I graduate, I can be an Otter of Reckoning. Also, breaking it might be bad for the continued timeline of the entire Nexus. Let's not do that right away."

He looks dubiously at the weapon again. "I will suggest improvements to make it better."

Sniffing, he peers at the bag marked Hershey. "Is there fudge in there? Because we know that there is fudge inside this house. Moosetapha is never wrong about chocolate."

[wcshoe]

Cutthroat disappears at the LugosiCon Gathering, and does not reappear immediately after...

Moosetapha still hangs around, only to discover what happens next...
