Folks,
We have a conflict - Ubercon is the weekend I'd staked out for Lugosicon. So... our "small event" hotel has two options for us. Which weekend works best for the greatest number of us?
October 22 - 24
November 12 - 14
Remember that Lugosicon will be a full plot weekend, with some big surprises.

We'd already moved off Halloween, to accomodate players with babies who want to do Halloween stuff with the offspring.
I'd picked the first weekend in November, and Stephen with Stronghold Games pointed out Ubercon's date. :-( whoops.

There might be a conflict with Mepacon, which is normally the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November. I'm not sure which weekend it is, but I'm trying to figure it out. David We'd already moved off Halloween, to accomodate players with babies who want to do Halloween stuff with the offspring.

The weekend before Halloween doesn't work for me since I'll be on a small tropical island. Mid-November is fine as far as I know *checks calendar*

I just checked and Mepacon is November 12-14. The Naga staff is running things at both Lugosicon, and Mepacon, so having them be the same weekend would be a problem for them David There might be a conflict with Mepacon, which is normally the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November. I'm not sure which weekend it is, but I'm trying to figure it out.

I find that crystal balls work well for dates. Mirrors are better for tech support as they work well on distances. I've still yet to find a good method for mind reading...
The November dates work better for me and I'm sure it's better for Tim too.

I'm not sure why the date wasn't up on their website, they still have the dates for their con this past may up there. I asked one of the coordinators and was able to get the dates. David

Well, Bela Lugosi was born on October 20th, 1882. (We share a birthday!) Perhaps the closest weekend to THAT date, instead of Halloween, would be best.

Augury works well for almost anything. Of course finding a bird to read the entrails of might be a challenge.

I'll be in Texas the week of Nov. 15. Not sure whether I'm going down the weekend before or what.

The October date is my preference, the closer to the holidays I get, the less chance of getting days off.
