2011 schedule - initial thoughts
« on: July 21, 2010, 10:20:40 AM »

Folks,

My current vision for a 2011 schedule involves holding tight until Dystopia Rising and Knight Realms have secured their camp sites, and then scheduling so we don't conflict with either game, as much as possible.

THEN, my plan looks like this:

January - stand alone event
February - DREAMATION 2011
Late April/Early May - Spring Gathering-ISH event.
Memorial Day - BBQ
July - DEXCON 14
August/September - Track 42 style event
October/November - Lugosicon

Just keeping folks in the loop.  :-)

Please speak up if you know of any conflicts.

Thanks a bunch!

January - weekend of the 22nd
April - weekend of the 16th or the 23rd
August - weekend of August 20th
September - weekend of Sept 17
October - weekend of October 15 or 22
November - weekend of November 12 or 19

(I know Dystopia Rising and Knight Realms are both up in the air currently - James has said that the third weekend of the month is the most likely to avoid conflict, so I'm doing my best to aim for there, but I also don't want to go up against other conventions.  I just got word that Betacon is running on the weekend of Martin Luther King day, for example.)

Although I don't think it'll affect us, April 22-24 is Anime Boston.

I'm honestly under-concerned by Anime Boston.  Unless we start pulling a Boston crew, I think we're safe.
