"....Shamus, you may tag along, if you can catch up. It's nice to know that there is a Lightfoot, who is not above even stealing my time."
With that, Seneca turns to leave again, pausing just long enough, to allow Shamus a chance to catch up to him.

*Shamus catches up with seneca and keeps a strolling pace next to him and his wraithlette*
"We missed ya at the gathering so i don't fully know if your up to speed. My question since sanctuary is next to the beacon and im sure you know about its energy capacity, is what the Avatars proposing to do going to be effective to eradicate all ghost rock before our time is up? which i belive is the gathering of Lugosi."

Seneca looks at the little Lightfoot, and then looks over to the Wraithlette. "That my dear, was what I was talking about. Not exactly a soup question." The Wraithlette giggles in response.
Still walking, Seneca then looks back over to Shamus. "Shamus, you have proven bright enough to inquire of me, in advance. So if you really want, I'll answer your question.
But first, before I answer, I'll ask you to consider these three concepts. First, do you think that those planning to use the capabilities of The Beacon, either understand what it truly is, or can actually control its power? Second, do you think that they will ask anyone who is known to be associated with The Beacon, say the person whose front doorstep lies but 500 yards from it, either for permission or input? Third, it is not uncommon knowledge that ghost rock is a completely natural phenomenon, and represents a weight of profane energy, designed to balance against the weight of the sacred forces that be. Given this, is an eradication, that will undoubtedly upset that natural balance in the best interests of the greater good?"

"Don't you think i've already consider those 3 questions and thats why i sought you out. When citadel was non existant the nexus went bonkers because balance was not there. You have some how in your years here developed more of a divine knowledge then others, although the fields they've research has there advantages to control it temporarily. I am just making sure everyone doesn't agree to there own demise without consulting with everyone here. Citadel was not represented at the last gathering so we could not get your house views on this matter. I fear that this will cause more problems than solutions."

"Just making sure you have considered those points. Otherwise my answer would have little impact.
You asked whether I believe that the power of the Beacon will eradicate Ghost Rock? My answer is no. I do not believe it will. The Beacon is a focus of All. It's energies are not for mere avatars to contain, possess, direct, or channel, no matter what their skills and disciplines.
Those that are coming, will very likely upset the balance, that they fought so hard to regain at the last cycle's end. They feel compelled to act. But, they act out of fear, fear of their shadow selves. Ghost Rock's insanity forces a mirror into the face. Shows you your weaknesses. Your pettiness. Your anger. Your apathy. Your loathings. The very darknesses that provide the definition and boundaries of your own inner lights. The very reason why the dust has no discernible effect upon me, is because I walk, talk, dance, and delight with my shadow. I know my boundaries, respect them, and use them to make me stronger. But then, as you noted, my years here, and before, have given me much time to practice.
The Nexus has seen fit to provide us with a form, and a mechanic to regularly allow for a natural balancing of the dark energies of Ghost Rock. We need no extra, higher powers than have already bee accessed to deal with the inconvenience it presents. However, if what I have said makes you concerned enough to act, Shamus, you would do well to encourage patience in your fellow avatar. Even if patience must be encouraged at barrel point."

"As per usuall you have a way with words Seneca." *Shamus sighs* "I knew deep down somehow that was gonna be your answer not the whole dancing in your own shadow but somehow that makes sense to me. If you accept your 'shadowside' you will be more controlling when that part wishes to show its face and not fear it. *Shamus stops walking* "Seneca this is where i depart there are others i wish to speak to. Unless you have anything else you would like to add to our conversation before i depart."

Seneca and companion pause along with the Lightfoot. "Accepting you have a shadow, is only the first step. But as in all journeys, it is the most important. Show courage, patience, and tolerance, for yourself and others, and you'll be well on your way to the second step, and preventing a possible disaster."
The little Wraithlette ambles up to Shamus, and holds out a hand to shake farewell.

*Shamus gladly shakes the wraithlette's hand and then gives a basic wave to Seneca* "Thank ya both for the 'theft' of your time, and safe travels as you just said to fox when you walk in proper you invite trouble." *At that point shamus turns around starts to walk behind a rock and is gone.* OOC hide in shadows
