Just so no one worries:

We are Fine.

About half an hour ago there was a shooting outside of my building (right outside my living room window), but I didn't even know about it until the detective knocked on my apartment door.

I was at home playing a video game and I didn't hear a thing. I felt like sort of an idiot when the detective asked if I hear and saw anything. My apartment has the best view of the scene of the crime and I was oblivious to it all.

Rob isn't home from work yet.

Apparently it was a "19 year old kid" who got shot. The detective said he didn't die. There were 6 shots fired. Other than that I know nothing.

Just didn't want anyone to hear the news and freak.
