It's official! There will be a January event folks! Weekend of January 22nd, 2011. This is going to be another "Track 42" format event, and we are now open for event submissions.
Here are a few notes and reminders for submissions:
For Everyone: All events must be 6 hours in length. Parties should be planned to be a minimum of 8 individuals. 3/4ths of the total party may be pre-selected before the event, but at least 1/4 should be signups at the event.(For an 8 man party, 6 may be pre chosen, but 2 have to be pickups).
For those submitting specific requests for events, and don't have a GM for yet: Please submit in a request to either myself, or Andy, detailing what exactly you're looking for. Things to include are:
-The Avatar(s) the request is intended to primarily benefit.
-If there are any specific goals(items, item components, training for skills/powers, character development goals, etc.).
-If you have a genre in mind for a setting
-If you've recruited a team in advance, for the outing.(Be sure your team knows they've been recruited in character and out.

For those submitting event they'd like to GM themselves, or GMing a Request Event:
-A brief description blurb of the event. If you need an example, please check out the blurbs we get for DREAMATION and DEXCON event listings.
-A Maximum amount of players you're willing to run for. (Please remember you
must be ready to accept 8 players, minimum.)
-NEW: A complete listing of the known item rewards you plan to distribute. This
must be in an email, or shared google doc. Preferrably, we'd like to see it in the format that goes onto item cards itself.(If you need help to know what belongs on there, or if you have any question about whether you're giving rewards that are too big for balance, we'll be happy to help you with this.)
-NEW: Be prepared to submit, within 2 weeks after the event, the final list of loot. Again this
must be in an email, or shared google doc. This is really the best way, for all involved, to keep documented records.
One other reminder, this will be the last event before DREAMATION, and the Council elections. If you ever wanted an opportunity, to start some early politicking, this is going to be it! (Ashleigh, will be detailing the advertising policies very soon.
