Which which?
« on: March 01, 2011, 06:28:48 PM »

If one would have a table for some old tyme war boardgames, say Panzer Blitz or Panzer Leader, would that be in Wargaming room or Board Games?

If full event payment was paid, would Board Games be ok for pickup old tyme games?

There are plenty of pick up games that happen during the convention.

Based on the description of your games, they could fit in either Boardgaming or Wargaming.  I would suggest contacting the Senior Staff of both those departments directly.

Hi, I'm Mark and I'm one of the directors of the Wargaming department. I would suggest you come to us first for one reason; Resources.

From observation it seems that the Board Gaming staff are often very busy trying to get the many games set up, finding the right table for players, teaching games, playing games, etc.

In the wargaming department we tend to be busy in spurts and once a slot gets started some of us have free time. If you stop by and ask for a space to play we will certainly try to accommodate you.

And who knows, you may see something that catches you fancy and you decide to play a "Real" war game instead  ;)

Stop by and introduce yourself to our staff: Joe, Bill, Damian, Mike, and myself, Mark.

Pillage, then burn.

A soft answer turneth away wrath. Once wrath is looking the other way, shoot it in the head.

That which does not kill you has made a tactical error.

There is no "overkill".  There is only "Open Fire" and "Time to Reload!"

Also, when you see the event proposal form go up on the website, feel free to bid your games for slots, and we'll make sure you get connected to the right department - if you'd like to see them on the schedule, that is.
