Drat.  The link seems to be broken.   :-[

All I saw was a page saying that I needed to be registered to read the article.

Hmm, sorry about that.  (Darn the Times.)  Here's the WotC article, but it doesn't have as much info.

(It also contains a link to the Times article, but I don't know if it will work for you or not.)

The more I play Pathfinder (aka D&D 3.75) the less I like current and future Wizards products.
I've spent very little money on D&D4, and will not spend any on 5.

IMHO 4.0 is barely D&D. Everyone is a wizard with a too long list of powers (essentially "spells") they can use, and its not very well geared to role playing,
more like heavy dungeon crawl combat. To me, the good points (such as improved low level survivability) does not outweigh the downsides.

Again, this is all just IMHO.

Most of my problem with "D&D Next" is that my job is selling D&D now.  I cannot sell a product that is coming out sometime next year, and I have young potential tabletoppers coming in looking for the 4E Red Box, which is currently "out of print."  >:(  If Pathfinder would eat the losses on their Beginner Box and drop the price by ten bucks, they could be eating D&D's future right now.
