We all know that the internet is filled with silly tests that tell you something about your self. I found this one as I was doing research to play in a Mage LARP. It is both silly and insightful Have fun.http://www.mutedfaith.com/quiz/qz4.htm

The test is short only 10 questions, but many possible answers for each question. I came up as a: Spirit Mage http://www.mutedfaith.com/quiz/sm.htm

I don't think it has any connection to Mage the "A" Its not Purple It was just fun to find and play with. Though it could be used to help create personalities for new characters.
there is 2 ways to use this: Take the test using your answers Take the test answering the questions as your character.
how do the results compare

Well, apparently, Linda is an Earth mage, but the description is SOOOO not me! I'll check out Zero and Tartuia just for laughs; it's short enough.

Tartuia came out as Life mage, very appropriately, and Zero as Time mage, which also makes sense. Heck, SOME of Linda as Earth mage makes sense, I suppose, but "unbreakable"? Ummm ... not.

Walter is a spirit mage, which oddly seems to work. While Stran is a time mage. I can see some of the similarities, but the rest just confuses me a little.

I have not seen the new book yet, but i will trust you. All that I have heard about the new system so far is that the rules are better but the back story id weak in comparison the the original game. My guess is 4 years before they go back to the original back story. Why do I say this. answer: it will take 18 months for them to know that people don't like the new back story, 18 months to write a story about what the world is like after the end of times. 1 extra year to get the dummies that don't know the difference to buy as much of the new stuff as they can sell because they have already paid to have it written. I cant Waite to read the post end of times game world. This conversation (side bar) can be continued here: World of Darkness in 4 years http://www.dexposure2.com/forum//index.php/topic,501.0.html

Alf: Illusionist
Virtue: you are often the center of attention because of your bizarre quirks. You have a tendency to shock people. You are insightful, and can often discover the root of a probem before anyone else.
Vice: your need for a certain type of attention often draws out a manipulative nature in you. You can lie better than most, and sometimes find yourself caught in the web of your false reality.
Valeria: Void Mage
Virtue: you are a chaotic dreamer. While others dream of mundane desires, you have a tendency to think outside the realms of probability. You have a powerful mind that works outside the realms of normal logic.
Vice: your lust to be different often stirs contempt for the world around you. You can be generally uncaring when it comes to people you consider "beneath" you.
Sebastian: Spirit Mage
Virtue: You have a keen understanding of human nature. You are slow to act and often to speak as well. Because of your observations, you have a better knowledge of motives and emotions than most people.
Vice: although you understand others, nobody seems to understand you the same way. You feel like an ear to the world, and you often bottle your emotions inside, for fear of being misunderstood.
