I would like to congratulate our newest assistant GM, Andrew Sirkin.

He may be "the worst tree ever" but we all think he will be a valuable addition to the staff and are looking forward to working with him.

Congrats, now I know for sure that Socket can't kill the tree.

Actually Mark, Ass't GM's get no protection for their characters at all.  If anything, we'd probably pick on them more to make sure there's no perceived preferential treatment. 

Andy could in fact be required to make sure Felegro is killed fair and square.

Andy knows it, Mark knows it. as far as I know, neither will do anything outside the rules to avoid a hole punch, but both will do everything within the rules to avoid it, as they should.

There has been an in character gag now for a while, in which the priest attempts to bait/lure/taunt Socket into killing the tree.

So far, it has been as successful as Wile E Coyote's plans to get the Roadrunner. However, it is amusing to watch at times.

The whole thing is really very ironic - Socket could do it if he wanted to use his powers correctly, and he hasn't   But that's okay, I suspect Felegro will take his punches like. . . well, certainly not like those dirty humans! :-p
