In the Beacon, Hyran reappears, roughly ten minutes after his last disappearance. His clothing has changed back to his normal smugglers garb, and a look of serne calm is on his face.

Just as quickly, he is gone.

During the brief moment in which he Was, a small figure appears by the Beacon, dressed in the traditional brown robes of a Jedi. The small being chirps a friendly greeting. As usual, a telepathic broadcast reaches out to those beings in the nearby area.

~hello everybody I was helping Hyran he is working on a way to eliminate Death from the Nexus that way the Chaos Wolves won't be able to kill the Cookie Bakers and we can finally stop them and make them good wolves what did I miss while I was away?~

In the absense of other beings, the two otters switch to Othmirin, a much faster and more precise language.  A few chirps, squeaks, whistles, whisker twitches, tail wavings, and paw gestures later, the two reach a decision. A portal of mud forms from the ground near them, and they scamper through...

[Bron Price]

::Bron is deposited via teleporter at the Beacon just in time to see the two otters scamper through the MUD portal::

"GAAAAH!!   F$%^* furballs!!

Upon hearing the colorful language of Bron Price, the two otters scamper back out of the portal. They scoot to a stop directly in front of him, looking up expectantly at him.

[Bron Price]

::Bron looks down at the two otters with his typical annoyed look::   So good of you two to come back.  Now that I'm here, what can I do to help Hyran and you?

Cutthroat and Crafty both sit down, and Crafty chirps soothingly.
~it is okay Hyran is safe for now he is experimenting with the boundaries between life and death but he had to go somewhere where he could safely look at death from the other side of the boundary without becoming undead this was the logical location I had to talk to him so i had to join him for a while because while MUD critters share a link with their Muddites it doesn't seem to work well if one is dead and the other isn't there is nothing you need to worry about as I told you before he left me in charge of everything while he is going to be away so there really isn't anything you can do to help him but if you did want to help me you can have some cookies with us oh yeah we fixed Cutthroat's cell phone it was a problem with the relays they are in Hyran's Domain and that automatically seals if he is dead so there was no signal getting through at least that was what Da Weasel told us~

Cutthroat clears his throat and speaks. "Hyran also said if you wanted to help us you should bring back the NDF."

[Bron Price]

Ok, so Hyran is safe.  That would have left me on yet another colorful wild X-Wing chase which I didn't want to go on in the first place.  At least that hurdle is done with.  ::Bron drops to one knee to get closer to the otters::.  Yes, i will have a cookie.  Thank you.  Cutthroat, while I think I'd need some validation on what Hyran told you, I did say we wouild discuss the NDF.  I only know of three avatars who could be considered to be part of this NDF.  I would suggest you get more organized and furnish the council with a possible Chaos Wolves invasion and what your NDF would do about it.  If there are other "impending" attacks, you may want to bring that up to the council as well.  Oh, you're going to need another Lieutenant.  I don't think John will be coming back.

As Crafty begins the serious work of cookie distribution, Cutthroat briefly ponders Bron's words. "There are no Avatars that are part of the NDF anymore, Bron. The Council disbanded it. Thus, they can't get organized, nor can they offer anything to the Council, because the Council refused to appoint a liason. And now you believe that the Chaos Wolves got John?"

[Bron Price]

Cutthroat, if you want an NDF, put something together.  Why wait for the Council to do something?  Personaly, I didn't find a need for the NDF and it looks like I wasn't alone in this.  I would welcome a point that would prove me wrong.  And no, I don't believe the Chaos Wolves "got" John. 

[wcshoe]

"Put something together? We had something together. Why wait for the Council? Because we were supposed to wait for the Council. The Council had decided that cycles ago, that it had to decide who was going to run NDF. The Council always wants to stick its nose into everything, and then tells us we need to do stuff ourselves? Now you have absolutely nobody to enforce Council Regulations and Laws...." The otter trails off, realizing what he has just said.

"Brilliant work, Bron! But, I would still like to be a Captain in something."

[wcshoe]

Crafty begins casually inching closer to the MUD Portal...

Cutthroat removes a pocket watch from behind a twinkling star, and glances at it, before tucking it back away. He waits expectantly for Bron to speak...

Cutthroat suddenly remembers what happens when Bron just stands in place, watching somebody. "Radiation! Quick, through the portal!"

The two otters scamper pell mell into the portal, which collapses behind them.

[Bron Price]

What The Fu... ?!?  ::SIIIIIGH::   ::Bron speaks to no one in particular::   TEMPERANCE, one to beam directly to The Cove's Holosuite 2!  ::A shimmer of light and Bron disappears.

About an hour after he disappeared, Hyran reappears inside the Beacon.

Again, he disappears just as quickly, once more leaving his weapons behind...
