Cassie cocks her head to one side for a moment, as if listening to something. "Thank you for the tea, Seneca, but I must be going. It seems Jamison has decided to meddle in my business yet again, and he's trying to lead some of the newer Avatars to do his work for him. Do come and visit some time. Cody sent me a lovely tea set I haven't yet had a chance to use, and I would very much like to repay your hospitality." She leans down to give him a kiss on the cheek. [D, I'll send you an IM for this - don't worry, no combat actions ;-)]

She waves to the two, and taps one of the circuits behind her ear. "Tank, exit," and in the sound of an old modem she vanishes.

Felegro listens to Seneca, and is grateful for the time to think while Cassie speaks.  Something about Felegro's stance makes it seem like he should be biting his lip, but he doesn't, mostly because he has no teeth or lips.  "I'm not sure what this will involve.  And yet... I suppose I can try.  The worst that occurs is my death, and I know that eventually someone will accomplish my goals, even if I am unable.  It seems a worthwhile cause.  And I only have two, no, one person I have to inform.  Two weeks is probably too long."  He pauses.  "It is worth it.  I agree."

As Felegro acquiesces, the first few flakes of snow begin to fall from the sky over Sanctuary.  One of them lands upon Seneca's open palm.  In apparent defiance of the laws of thermodynamics, the snowflake does not melt, but merely rests quietly in his hand.  He brings the snowflake close for further examination.  As he stares at the snowflake, Seneca's eyes glaze, and then brighten.
Without looking up, he says quietly to Felegro, "You have been accepted.  Please leave now, and return here in two weeks time.  Your teachers have much to do, to prepare."
Still cradling the snowflake in his hand, Seneca rises from his perch.  He turns on Felegro, and strides off towards Sanctuary, contemplating the snowflake.  On his way off he snaps his fingers and the entirety of the repast turns into a coating of snow on the ground.  Chill winds begin to blow across the domain, and the snowfall advances from flurries to a steady fall.

Felegro looks around, slightly paniced by the snow.  He blinks at Seneca as he strides off, and then looks at the plants of the grove.  (Are they okay?  does it look like they will die from the sudden frost?)

In natural reply, and in an as extremely short order as was the weather change, the plants change their state into their cold weather adaptations.  Leaves gradulay brown, and are blown off their branches, to soar in the winds.  The grasses are resistant at first but then yield.  Nothing suddenly dies and wilts, they simply adapt.

Felegro examines the plants carefully, over a period of almost ten minutes.  Seeing that they are not, in fact, dead, but instead dormant, he detaches and takes a few unnessicary pieces of root from a few plants (particularly the resiliant grasses).  He looks at them, and brings them back to his territory for dissection and dissemination.  He has a number of things to take care of, and this should keep everyone busy while he's away.
