Quietly, to Sebastian, Sarah says, "If I guide it directly, chances are good others will notice my meddling and countermeddle.  Truly, it is better if you collectively decide which path to follow."

†  Just as quietly, the hunter turns his head toward Sarah and responds, "there is a difference between meddling and providing guidance my lady.  It is not so much a matter of which path to choose, but rather a matter of choosing a path at all.  We all agree that fraulein Galen needs our help, but I am not well-versed in mysticism and find myself at a loss in finding a way to help her physically."

She glances at Felegro. "The tree means well and has a perspective which, perhaps, is necessary when dealing with the id of a sick mage."

†  The hunter sighs, "I will accept your judgement in this, though again - I fear his involvement could easily make things worse."

She tries to summon a smile.  "My biggest influence here was to keep fingers out of the pie until a natural check and balance formed."

†  The Citadel nods, "so now that the assembled group is here, what steps do we take to mend Arwen.  I can fight an enemy ... physical or incorporeal, I can tend physical wounds to an extent, but this is beyond my abilities."

::conversation bounces between Hyran and Seneca::

†  Breaking from his aside with Sarah, the hunter addresses the group, "it is clear that we have differing views on the nature of Arwen's state, and we each must deal with our perspectives in our own way.  No one is completely in the worng, and no one is completely in the right.  The best thing to do right now is come to a concensus on the steps WE are to take."

"I'm sorry Sebastian.  Did the message pass you by?  She has invited me in.  In the limited fashion Arwen's psyche is allowing right now, I am in contact with her.  We're doing what we can, but rage upon those who have hurt and abandoned her, and avoidance of further damage are the current trains of thought goin on in there.  Avoidance to the point of, I suspect, a willingness to suicide.
At this point, in as much honesty as you can muster, I would start finding methods by which you can appease and console what lies within her.  Once rational contact can be reestablished, perhaps I can start putting pieces, light and dark, back together into some semblance of order."

†  The younger Citadel simply looks at Seneca/Chaos, blimking, "No ... no message passed me by that I am aware, you stated you had an emissary with her."  His eyes scan his housemate's face, looking for some clue as to a ruse or mindgame in Seneca/Chaos' eyes, "And you have simply repeated, in different words, what I had just stated ... we need to agree on our course of action."

Felegro sighs, realizing no one is willing to tell him exactly what is wrong with Arwen, and decides to take a peak.  He moves a little closer to the beacon, and tries to look towards Arwen's eyes.

The sound of a motorcycle approaches, and just outside the Sanctuary grounds it parks. Sigma gets off the bike, wearing a black ribbed bodysuit underneath a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that reads "CoNTaGioN" in a graffiti-like font. He has his sword on his belt and a small buckler and skateboard somehow attached to a backpack.

He walks towards the Beacon, stepping over the unconscious ofrm of Kaneda. He glances back at it, shrugs, and heads up to Sebastian.

Seneca sighs as the Galahad pulls into sight.  "Precious.", he mutters lowly.
When Sigma arrives on the hilltop, he calls over "Hello Caine.  Nice to see you.  Who, or what, brings you our way?"

(OOC Note:  I am operating on the assumption, that all of this scene is occurring prior to "Lovicon Nein!".  Hope everyone else is on that page??)

OOC: Not for me. I am not going to time-juggle.

Edit:
If this thread is staying firmly rooted in the past, I will repost Sigma's entrance in a new thread, because he is going to Sanctuary, *after* Lovicon.

OOC: I can't see most of the people here just leaving for a Gathering in the Nexus Hotel, and then coming back like nothing happened. On the other hand, if we are going to continue this as if it resolved before then ,we should make damn sure we start getting somewhere, because Barb is kinda in Limbo here with not knowing how to play her "resolved" character at Gatherings...

OOC: Agreed
IC: "Bottom line, we have several Avatars here who have expressed a desire to help. We each are willing to do pretty much whatever it takes, if someone knows precisely what must be done to help, please tell us so we can decide whether or not we will do it. No matter how hard it may be, doing nothing is worse than at least making the attempt to help. What can we do?"

Hollywood emerges from the shadows, clad in black leather pants and a bomber jacket. He had apparently been lurking there awhile and finally decided to throw his two cents into the mix.
"Hyran, I understand you think you did all you could for her." He removes his shades and approaches the Jedi, "I understand that your actions were taken with the best of intentions... and I get that you dont feel you had any failing here." He shrugs, "And maybe you didn't, I really have no idea, I wasnt there. I've never even met this lady outside of the beacon." The Fleming pauses for a moment before taking a deep breath and continuing. "Regardless of what happened between you two, this is how she feels," he gestures towards the glowing box.

"Im sure she finds some comfort in knowing that there are friends gathered about who want to help her carry her burden, and who are willing to accept her back with open arms and freshly baked cookies," he nods to Cutthroat. "I think she knows that... this isnt about friends or forgiveness... she needs to know that its okay to feel the way she does... she needs us to..." he stops and runs a hand through his hair, "Helll, she doesnt need me to do anything, she doesnt even know me." The Shadowrunner turns to face Hyran, "She needs YOU to validate the rage that she feels. She wants to be understood..."

After a pause (OOC: Unless somebody is cutting me off) he shrugs, "Or maybe I'm way off base here."

**  OOC - the timeline issue is based on the fact that events last con influenced Sigma's current participation in the thread (much like events from a month ago affected the situation between Seb and Kaneda).  I think that so long as the thread itself (and general Nexal continuity) is not being messed with our characters can all take the current thread from their own personal timelines.  it's not the first time something like that has happened :)

†  Sebastian walks up to Sigma and grasps the Galahad's wrist in an archaic handshake, "it's good to see you around again ... can we take your presence as a sign that you are back to work?"

Hollywood emerges from the shadows, clad in black leather pants and a bomber jacket [snip Hollywood's monologue] "Or maybe I'm way off base here."

†  The hunter listens to the Fleming quietly, then interjects flatly, "entschuldigumg, aber ... who in Odin's name are you?"

Hollywood turns to the Hunter with his usual friendly grin, "Ahh, sorry. The names Hollywood." He offers a handshake, "Sebastian, right?"

Fluid time doesn't work as Sigma's actions at L9 affect PC's reactions to him now.  This has to be before L9.  Sarah will manufacture a reason for people to walk off, leaving Arwen in shifts, and then it can pick back up in a new thread with Sigma and Hollywood appearing.
