The symbolic purr of Yuri's automobile pulls up to the bulletin board, and the rear passenger side door is opened, allowing the Soviet Esper, Yuri, to stride out. He walks directly up to the message board, and removes his previous posting, the message simply marked "Think"... and posts something new.

"Attention Avatars of the Nexus:

I, Yuri of House Octagon, am currently undertaking a project for the benefit of the entire Nexus. This project is called "The Unified Circuit". It's primary purpose will be historical referance and information archival, while the secondary purpose of the device is to allow for Avatars to communicate with other Avatars freely. This is my gift, on behalf of House Octagon, to the Nexus as a whole, and to all of her children.

This gift will be availble to all, though any donations of time and resources will be appreciated greatly, and will help make this Circuit a better tool for all of the Nexus. I can be reached though any availible and currently existing channels, and I will make myself known and availble to anyone who requests my presence for a further explaination as to the device. I thank you all. Alternatively, you may contact me directly by means of the communication device attached.

<There is what looks like an Octagon button affixed to the page. For those who may try, it cannot be removed without tearing it apart.>

Yuri then returns to his automobile, and heads off.

Shortly afterward, a silvery figure ambles over from somewhere near the Council Chambers.  As it approaches, its appearance becomes less silvery and more like the typical human form Zero normally appears in (complete with a grey t-shirt that reads "DREAMATION 2006".)

It stops in front of the bulletin board, reads the newest notice, and shakes its head.  It hold up the small credit-card shaped device known as the "data thingie", taps it once or twice, and touches it to the paper.

It starts to leave, then stops and looks at the board for a long time.  After a few minutes, it touches the paper gingerly with its fingers.  Shaking its head, it lifts the data thingie again, running its fingers over the surface, then touches the device to the bulletin board itself.  When it is removed, the following words appear -- on the board itself, not on paper:

Avatars:

You are not ovine mammals.  Please do not behave as such.  You have the capacity to think, and to assert your own will.  Please make use of these abilities.

Zero stares at the result for a moment, looking not quite satisfied, but finally walks away, muttering something under its breath.

  Shaking its head, it lifts the data thingie again, running its fingers over the surface, then touches the device to the bulletin board itself.  When it is removed, the following words appear -- on the board itself, not on paper:

Zero stares at the result for a moment, looking not quite satisfied, but finally walks away, muttering something under its breath.

Cardinal Frig'emall strides up to the board and sees the newest messages, smiling at them in general, then pulls out a Sharpie and writes directly above Ovine Mammals, "Sheep" then moves on.

Fox Walks in exited of the posibilaty that someone has left him a reply to his ad and notices yuris post.  he stops to read it.  then reads it again and then notises zeros comment and takes a step back and cocks his head to the side and ponders the idea of the unified system and turns to leave and turns back to glance at it again and leves

**Eli logs on**

Translucent, in bluish jeans and a striped, knit polo shirt, a Helvetia button, Eli walks to the notice board. Ignoring the Fox for a moment, he peruses the notices the 'Help Wanted' ad, something about a war, and Yuri's message.

"I don't get it," he says to no one in particular. He unties the pen from the 'Help Wanted' ad. To the Fox, he says, "You don't mind if I borrow this, do you? I'm not sure about these other channels in the messages, so I guess I could just write the 'I guess I can volunteer' thing right after it."

The automobile returns, heralding the return of the Soviet Esper. The captain gets out of the driver's seat, opens the rear passenger door, and snaps to attention as Yuri disembarks and makes his way over to the message board.

He sees the message that suggests that Avatars are Ovine Mammals and merely shakes his head, running through the list of people that would do such, then notices the handwriting of his comrade in arms Cardinal Frig'em'all as he has taken so kindly to correct the original message. He chuckles to himself, and then takes note of his original message.

"At least whoever defaced the board had the decency to leave the message..." He muses as he afixes a device to the message that exactly resembles an Octagon House button. He appends his original message with the option to contact Yuri directly through the transmitter in the button. He then notices the first signature, that of Eli, and looks between Fox and Eli.

"Greetings to you both. By chance, one of you wouldn't happen to be Eli, would it?"

Fox points twards Eli

[Yuri_Prime]

Yuri nods towards Fox, then turns to address Eli, "I thank you for volunteering. When it comes time to actually construct the Circuit, then you will receive more details. Until then," Yuri turns to address both Fox and Eli, "Do either of you have any questions about the device?"

Fox syas "no" whale shakeing his head but still looking alittle unshure of his responce

Eli waves politely at Yuri. He takes a second to tie the marker back onto the Fox's help wanted ad.

"Well, I don't have much in the way of resources to help with the thing," he says to Yuri. "I don't think I can mine resources or anything like that yet. At least, I haven't figured out what skills I needed to hunt or skin things. Can I still be useful in doing whatever needs to be done with it?"

[Fox McCloud]

Fox stops for a second and turns to face yuri and says"Actually if thare is a payment invalved i wold defanately be willing to help.

Yuri looks between the two of them, then looks back to Eli, "Yes, you can help. Every single Avatar is important, not just in this project but in this Nexus..." Yuri motions around to the general area, arms sweeping to encompass everything, "It may be that the very success of this project depends on one Avatar having the drive and the desire to do something for the good of the Nexus." Yuri checks the list again, then looks again at Eli, "I am certain that, if you have the confidence to be the first to sign, then I am certain that you will be able to do what it takes."

Yuri then turns to Fox, "There may not be any monetary reward, as this Circuit is a gift to the Nexus, though if you wish to assist us I am certain we can reach an arrangement."

Fox put off by the lack of momantary reward but asks "what kind of arrangement and what wold i have to do?"

[Yuri_Prime]

Yuri regards the anthropomorphic mercenary for a split moment then nods, noticing his reaction but saying nothing, "Well, as far as payment, as I said actual currency may not be an option, though House Octagon is the undisputed masters of crafting technological items, I suppose if you wish to be compensated then I could arrange for a weapon to be made for you."

Yuri pauses to allow the humanoid to think of this a moment, "As for what you would need to do, at the moment, nothing. We are not yet ready to begin construction of the device... " Yuri turns to look at the two of them together, "This is a project for all of Avatar-kind, a project for us all to come together, regardless of belief or background, and give all of Avatar-kind the one thing they need most: History. That is the nature of this project. As for how you can help, we will need smart and able minds to assist in the construction of the device, as well as those versed in crafting items, and those who have quick access to materials or resources. We will also need help physically constructing the Circuit, and if you do not yet have access to your own resources, or your knowledge of construction is not quite up to speed, we still will need all the help we can get."
