For the Horde!

WWW
« on: August 12, 2005, 03:42:40 PM »

Greetings all you Video Gamers!

I would like to take this opportunity to speak to any of you that may or may not play World of Warcraft, a throughly addictive MMORPG, set in Blizzard's Warcraft universe.

I am the Guild Master of <The Nameless Ones> a Horde guild on the Dalaran server, and I would like to extend an offer for any of you to come and take a look at our website, and if any of you are WoW players, to consider joining up with us!

We are a PvE oriented Guild, focusing on nothing in game besides having a great community that wishes to grow together, and of course having fun!

We use Teamspeak, for voice communication in game, have a full forum setup for event planning, and are allied with some of the best Guilds the Dalaran server has to offer.

You can access our Guild's site via the website link in my profile, or just click the link that I am conviently placing here.

http://namelessones.guildportal.com

If you have any questions, by all means, feel free to post them here, on the Guild site, or if you play in game, by contacting myself, or any of my Officers.

Xardos: Fearless Leader
Esper: Officer
Palehoof: Officer
Keleskx: Officer

Ok, I think I will end my shameless plug here, but thanks for reading, and hopefully see some of ya in game!

/salute

Damn, that's the one reason I don't like it when online games have a bajillion servers.  When ya find someone ya know who plays, there's nil a chance they're on the same server as you.  All my guys are on Zul'jin and Bloodhoof, heh.

Yeah, it does bite to have them spread out that much.  But seriously, think about the opposite end of the spectrum.  If they didn't have that many servers, for the size of the WoW community, you'd have a constant FPS of .2 in either Org or IF on every server.

Oh, definitely.  That's why I said it was the ONE reason I didn't like the set up.  I was trying to imply I'm glad it's the way it is, but had to state that one caveat.

So, I've decided to put together a little news portal and forum for WoW in the NJ area.  Anyone who plays who attends the DoubleEx cons or who knows me, or hell, just plays the game is welcome to stop by and check it out.

If anyone has a small guild and would like a few boards in our guild section for your guild, I can accomodate that as well.

So stop by and feel free to contribute.

The website URL is http://www.darkedge.com/wow/.  The site has no official name yet.

Just keeping this old thread a little current:  Our current guild name is now "GOAT"
(we merged The Nameless Ones with The Flames of Kalimdor and refused to call ourselves "The Flaming Ones")

We're still on Dalaran, we're even more powerful, and we want you to come play!  All levels accepted.  C'mon over!
