It is old, Victorian style, and creepy. There is a small chapel off to one side, and a graveyard. Aside from the front porch, and one window upstairs with bright green curtains drawn, the graveyard seems to be the most well-kept area.

On the heavy wooden front doors is a brass knocker with a relief of the four suit symbols of playing cards.

Fox walking onto the porch looking around scratching the back of his head "well this is whare it told us to find out whare the job is"  he knocks using the knocker.

The door opens slowly, with lots of creaking, exposing the hall beyond.

Fox peers inside "hello anybody thare?" taking half a step forward to look inside.

†  The hunter restrains himself from instinctively drawing his weapon and takes a step into the mansion, his gaze moving around the interior of the structure as the pair enters the foyer, "und how did you come across dies job again?"

The house (from what can be seen) is decorated in the style of the South in the late 1800's. It is, surprisingly, much better kept than the outside. The furniture and decorations seem to have been picked to show off wealth. The receiving hall they are standing in has a set of large steps leading up to the second floor, and an open archway leads off one side to a sitting room. There are some other closed doors.

A ghostly figure stands off to the side, and asks in a low voice, "Can I... help you?"

"I am Fox McCloud and i was sent here by a robot telling us that we were suposed to find out what our assignment was."

†  Sebastian moves to a location slightly off-center of the main room.  The hunter removes his sunglasses and slips them into the "V" of his shirt, his attention focused on the figure while his eyes continually scan the room.

Sebastian's scanning (and Fox's, should he choose to look elsewhere) can occasionally make out other ghostly forms moving around. The house seems full of them.

The "butler" ghost responds to Fox: "Very well. You and your companion may follow me. Mrs. McCullin is upstairs." It floats up the stairs and beckons to them. "Walk this way."

The stairs lead up to a hallway with much the same decor as downstairs. It is dimly lit with candles. There are various paintings on the walls depicting people, battles, scenery; the works (if either of you look closer, let me know). Most of the doors are closed, except for two. The one at the end of the hall appears to open into a master bedroom. The other, which is off to one side near the bedroom, is where the two are shown. The light from it shines out into the hallway.

Fox follows the butler up the stairs and glances at the pictures on the way up.

†  Sebastian takes the rear of the group, moving gracefully up the stairs despite his size.  He takes in everything around him, his demeanor apprehensive but not threatening.

The room the butler leads them into is a nursery. It is cheery, and decorated in shades of pale greens and creams. There is a shamrock theme to it. The furniture is much more modern, and the sense of gloom in the rest of the house is not present here. There are two cribs in the room: one blue, one pink. Cassie is sitting in a rocking chair, holding a bundle wrapped in blue and feeding him a bottle with red liquid.

"Ah, Fox, I am pleased to see you came. And you brought... Sebastian?" Cassie seems slightly puzzled. "Well, hello to both of you, then. Sebastian, are you here to back Fox up in the job, or just travelling with him for now?"

"Ah, Fox, I am pleased to see you came. And you brought... Sebastian?" Cassie seems slightly puzzled. "Well, hello to both of you, then. Sebastian, are you here to back Fox up in the job, or just travelling with him for now?"

†  The hunter's eyes narrow as he watches the bundle being fed, a look of grim displeasure on his face, "that ... depends on the job to be done."

fox looks around the room supprised at the difference in decor

fox gives seb a look of slight dissapointment

then back at cassie "and you are?"

"You'll pardon me for not getting up and shaking hands. My name is Cassie McCullin. This is my son Malachi." She nods towards the baby in the blanket. "In a nutshell, I am the best machinist in the Nexus right now. There have been better before me, and there will be others after, but right now? If you want your ship to be the best it can, I'm the one to build it." Her voice matches the voice from the robot from earlier exactly.

[OOC: It occurs to me that Fox's player probably doesn't know what Cassie looks like. She's about 5'6", with dark hair in lots of mini braids. What can be seen of her body has circuits over the skin. Over her eyes are what look at first to be a pair of mirrored sunglasses, but the lenses are actually inset into her eyesockets. There are two mechanical arms - think Doc Oc - coming out of her back. One holds a pacifier, the other holds a half-empty bottle of milk. There are no visible weapons anywhere near her.]

"Sebastian, please don't think so ill of what I must feed my children. If it were not for that half of their nature, I doubt they would be here at all. It hink even a demon hunter would not fault children for what their parents are."
