**Eli logs on**

Translucent, Eli takes a look around. His Helvetia button is still fairly prominent. However, he's wearing a white sackcloth tabard, over a striped polo shirt. It's belted at the waist with some string, and falls down to his ankles. Seeing no obvious enemies, he pulls a cardboard sword out of paper scabbard. Crouching over into a sneakier mode, he scans the soft earth for tracks.

"Ah ha," he says to the apparently untouched dirt, "I can see there may have been Chaos Wolves about! I shall try to follow these tracks and defeat them valiantly! For that is what Knights of the Niveskian Order do! Er..."

He looks around, at the desolate, broken hills, the cold air, the crescent moon rising wanly over the broken landscape... and decides the forest is probably the best bet. He begin walking in that direction.

[Fox McCloud]

Fox who has been lost in these woods for a while stumbles apon the strange creatcure "what are you doing?" he says (ooc: I really wanted to say something along the lines of 'youve just got two coconuts and your bangen em' together' but fox wouldnt understand the refrance  ) "whatever do you know to get to umm...what did he call it....oh right the falls?"

With a start, Eli says, "Ah ha!" He whips around swinging his sword... threateningly (?)... at the Fox. "Oh, it's you."

"I am hunting Chaos Wolves," Eli says. "It has been my quest ever since Chaos Wolves killed my parents years ago when I was but a wee child. I can remember it like it was yesterday..." He sighs dramatically. "But I suppose you wouldn't be interested in hearing that long, bloody tale."

"Anyway, no, I don't know where the falls are. How about that way?"

Eli points in the direction of the chill breeze, deeper into the woods. The trees huddle over over the darkened path, branches clawlike and grasping. "It's where I was planning on going anyway."

"By the way, you can call me Sir Lane, Knight of the Niveskian Order. Would you be Yeoman Fox, Lord Fox, or something like that?"

'Sir Lane' pauses and thinks a moment before adding, "Although I supposed you're already someone already, aren't you? Starfox, right? Er... what was your story again?"

[Fox McCloud]

I am hunting Chaos Wolves," Eli says. "It has been my quest ever since Chaos Wolves killed my parents years ago when I was but a wee child. I can remember it like it was yesterday..." He sighs dramatically. "But I suppose you wouldn't be interested in hearing that long, bloody tale."

fox looking quite confused "but i though you said you didnt know what a chaos wolf was??? oh nevermind."

"By the way, you can call me Sir Lane, Knight of the Niveskian Order. Would you be Yeoman Fox, Lord Fox, or something like that?"

'Sir Lane' pauses and thinks a moment before adding, "Although I supposed you're already someone already, aren't you? Starfox, right? Er... what was your story again?"

fox looks at his little starfox emblem on his jaket "how did you gess?..." he turns to look down the path "i gess that way is as good as any....plus i shouldnt leave you alone out here with nothing to protect youself with..." fox looks down at the cardbord sword "nothing except a sword i ment...alright comon" fox begins walking ahead down the path.

He begins walking down the way, sword drawn, watchfully watching the wicked, weird wood.

fox looks at his little starfox emblem on his jaket "how did you gess?..." he turns to look down the path "i gess that way is as good as any....plus i shouldnt leave you alone out here with nothing to protect youself with..." fox looks down at the cardbord sword "nothing except a sword i ment...alright comon" fox begins walking ahead down the path.

"Oh, my cousin got a video game import from Kanjiri about that. We weren't supposed to play, since we were at their longhouse for outdoors stuff. I remember your emblem from that. I guess only Kanjiri folk would.. have star foxes in one of their things."

"Anyway, what rank does that make you? I only really saw it once, so it's not very clear what it involves."

The path seems to narrow as the trees press in further. It winds back and forth. Eli/Sir Lane stops at the brambles off the edge of the road. It is dead silent.

"Do you think we should go off the road? I'm a little curious to see if whoever made these woods took that into account. Besides, we haven't seen any Chaos Wolves yet. I seem to have lost their trail... Although I guess we risk going into a much more dangerous area."

He listens to the quiet and adds, "I don't think I hear any falls or running water nearby, either."

"Or I guess... should I see if anyone else is around looking for them? Or do we plunge on further?"

[Cody Capulet-Kane]

Hoof beats approach the pair as a sable horse bursts through the thicket and towards them. Perched onto the horse is a small red headed young woman dressed in a simple black blouse and long black skirt.

The horse and rider slow and come to a stop, the horse literally chomping at the bit to get moving again. "Well, 'ello there." She says from atop the steed. Securely to the saddle is a assortment of wildflowers, bound together by a black leather tie.

[Fox McCloud]

"Oh, my cousin got a video game import from Kanjiri about that. We weren't supposed to play, since we were at their longhouse for outdoors stuff. I remember your emblem from that. I guess only Kanjiri folk would.. have star foxes in one of their things."

"umm...ok."

"Anyway, what rank does that make you? I only really saw it once, so it's not very clear what it involves."

"im a merc....i dont have a rank...."

"Or I guess... should I see if anyone else is around looking for them? Or do we plunge on further?"

"meh...lets stick to the road...thares no need to go down thare."

Eli listens to the Fox's comments with some nodding. He watches as the horse gallops and stop by the road. He sheathes his sword, for the time being.

"Oh, hello. I'm Sir Lane, Knights of the Niveskian Order. The anthromorphic fox is Mr. Fox. We're looking for the Chaos Wolves to hunt them, as they've killed my parents a long time ago in a largely angst-ridden tale of woe. I was just about to see if there was anyone else in the area that could help us look for, and thereby possibly fight, them."

"Although if we can find the falls Mr. Fox is looking for that'd be fine, too." He absent-minded points at Fox after his statement.

"Nice wildflowers, by the way," he says. "Are they for potions or something like that?"

[Fox McCloud]

"Oh, hello. I'm Sir Lane, Knights of the Niveskian Order. The anthromorphic fox is Mr. Fox. We're looking for the Chaos Wolves to hunt them, as they've killed my parents a long time ago in a largely angst-ridden tale of woe. I was just about to see if there was anyone else in the area that could help us look for, and thereby possibly fight, them."

when eli isnt looking fox rolls his eyes

"Although if we can find the falls Mr. Fox is looking for that'd be fine, too." He absent-minded points at Fox after his statement.

"yeah if you could point me in the right direction..."

[Cody Capulet-Kane]

The redhead blinks. "You're hunting… Chaos Wolves. As in Crafty and Cutthroat's Chaos Wolves?"

The Citadel blinks. "Oh right, I'm sorry. I'm Cody Capulet-Kane." She pats the horse, who stomps his foot in response. "This is Minor. And the flowers are for my Father, just haven't decided where I want to leave them yet."

Gracefully Cody dismounts. "You say your family was killed by them… and you're a knight." She blinks. "How new are you?"

Cody turns her attention Fox. "And you're after a some falls. Are you talking about Sebastian's place?"

[Fox McCloud]

The redhead blinks. "You're hunting… Chaos Wolves. As in Crafty and Cutthroat's Chaos Wolves?"

Gracefully Cody dismounts. "You say your family was killed by them… and you're a knight." She blinks. "How new are you?"

"i really wouldnt think about it too deeply"

Cody turns her attention Fox. "And you're after a some falls. Are you talking about Sebastian's place?"

"that very one"

[Valeria Kane]

**  As the group goes about their conversation, a stealthy shape in what appears to be coated in jet black fur moves through the foliage, red eyes can be seen glinting in the shadows.

[Fox McCloud]

Fox looks aroud for a second getting that feeling someones...watching and sholders his blaster rifle and looks around  "come on its not safe here..." fox causiously continus down the path without lowering his wepon.

[Cody Capulet-Kane]

Cody snorts. "Of course it isn't safe here. Where is it safe anywhere except in your own territory or under your own bed." She shrugs.

"If you're worried about being jumped… I'm sure that I can protect you." Absently she reaches up to her neck to finger, something. Her hand flattens, searches and with a sigh, she drops it again.

"I got a friend who can get up over to Seb's place. That is, is both of you don't mind something of the Wraithly persuasion.

The redhead blinks. "You're hunting… Chaos Wolves. As in Crafty and Cutthroat's Chaos Wolves?"

Eli says, "Yes, indeed, the crafty and cutthroat chaos wolves are my enemy for the very complete and fairly detailed life I have led as a knight! Grr!"

Eli brandishes his sword above his head. With a fancy flourish, he tucks it back into the paper scabbard, and bows.

Gracefully Cody dismounts. "You say your family was killed by them… and you're a knight." She blinks. "How new are you?"

"Pleased to meet you Lady, Mistress, and or other title, Capulet-Kane! I have lived here all my life," he declares.

Then, oddly, leans forward to whisper to Cody, "Not that long, really. I'm still settling on a proper biography."

"Yes," he says and begins gestaculating, "It all began one warm spring day eighteen years ago. I was just a young boy who had come back into the hut from the cheefully pleasant pine woods of Niveskian. (Niveskian, as you probably remember, is on the northern hemisphere, which is pretty far from where we are now. You can probably look it up in an atlas or something, if you're not familiar with it.) It was a warm day for the cold country - something like eighteen degrees Celcius - and my father, the kind, just, and strong lumberjack Deniah, who also liked wildflowers, had begun chopping wood from out behind the hut..."

Eli takes a deep breath, looks at everyone, and says, "Thus ends the first part of my long tale, which can be continued at another time."

Eli glances over at Fox's increasing nervousness at something, and ignores the cause, this effect, and his words.

"I got a friend who can get up over to Seb's place. That is, is both of you don't mind something of the Wraithly persuasion.

"Ooo! A realm?" Eli says, "Well, I guess that's ok by me. I can do the Chaos Wolf hunting a little later.. I suppose. But my parents will be avenged really soon! If that's all right with everyone...?"
