A Bit of Non-Avatar Recreation?

I've had the week from heck.  The month from heck.  And I sure ain't alone in that.  So ...

is anybody else jonesin' to sit at a table with some tootsie rolls/pixie stix and 52 (OK, 104) pasteboard rectangles?  (Preferably not during "Dark Crystal"?)  English translation:  NEED POKER!!![/b]

Oh god yes.  Poker.  Even though I dont have a tootsie roll to spair, I will spair 4000 tootsie rolls, for a chance at greatness.  Or at least goodness.

Bummer; I can't play poker IC.  (Zero's too smart, Tartuia's too dumb.) 

Normally I would just want to RP myself; but March has been just too rough, and I need an emotion-free distraction for a bit.  (The death count of people close to me or my friends hit 5 today, and I have another sick friend -- a former Avatar at that -- unaccounted for so far.  Please, somebody tell me they've spoken to John Harnes since 3/17.)

If there's motion for it to be an IC event, why not do it at Paradise Lost? Linda, you could be one of the NPC's there, and thus not worry about the too smart/not smart enough thing.

Hell, if there's to be no Paradise Lost, I'm sure the Royal Flush Gang would be up for hosting an IC poker night :)

I'm talking to John Harnes!!!!  His computer turned into a paperweight, so he was offline for a couple weeks.  (May still be, but he got online somehow today.)
