Embra sighed. She hated being an 'experiment' of Delton Incorporation. The crappy treatment, the constant physical abuse, and the inability to meet the Octarian 'experiments'... "A total injustice." She muttered to herself. She didn't even choose to be here. The Incorporation had kidnapped her and her twin sister, Thorn, and brought them here. The only plus about her situation was that she now had fire powers from the first experiment the Incorporation had performed on her. Suddenly, an announcement came on.
"Experiment Number 35, you are required for testing. Please get off the bed of coals and step onto the teleportation platform."
"Aw, put some ashes in your piehole, ya moron!" Embra yelled.
"Failure to comply will result in punishment for you and your sibling."
Embra knew she could stand the punishment, but she wasn't sure about Thorn. "Fine." Reluctantly, she stepped onto the teleportation platform in her cell.
She immediately appeared in a testing room, with an Incorporation employee and a strange machine in front of her. "Alright, what's the test this time?"
"We are trying out a portal machine. If everything works correctly, you'll step out of the portal into another testing room. Good luck with that!" The employee laughed.
Something about the employee's remark infuriated her. Embra's inner fire began to burn so intensely, she couldn't contain her anger, and exploded into flames, severely burning the employee. "OH, YEAH? WELL, I'M GOING THROUGH ON MY OWN TERMS! SCREW THE CONSEQUENCES!" She changed the dial on the machine from 'Marked Location One" to 'Random Location', then leaped through. That was the last thing she could remember...
